A note for parents and guardians

Your child has been invited to use Compass — a self-discovery and post-school guidance platform built for student-athletes in India aged 13–18. This page tells you, in plain language, what Compass is and how it looks after your child.

What Compass is

Compass helps young people understand themselves — their strengths, their interests, their ways of learning — and think about what may come after school: higher education, a vocational path, or a career in sport. It is not a clinical assessment, not therapy, and not a guarantee of any outcome.

What information Compass collects from your child

Name, age, grade, school, school board, state, district and city / town / village, preferred language, the sports they play, the NGO or Sports Academy they are connected through, and their answers to the reflection and assessment questions.

Who holds this information and where it lives

The information is held by Compass and stored securely on Supabase, our backend provider. Only your child and the coordinator at their NGO / Sports Academy can see their personal data. Nobody else can see one individual's data.

Participation is voluntary

Your child chose to use Compass. They can stop at any time. If they (or you) want the data removed, write to compass.app.feedback@gmail.com and it will be deleted within 7 days.
