This is how Compass looks after your information. It's written for you — the student who uses it — in plain language.

Who we are

Compass is a self-discovery and post-school guidance platform built for student-athletes in India. If you have any question about your data, write to us at compass.app.feedback@gmail.com.

What we collect

Your name
Age and grade
School name and school board
State, district, and city / town / village
Preferred language
Sports you play
The NGO or Sports Academy that connects you to Compass
Your answers to the assessments and reflection prompts

Why we collect it

Only to personalise your guidance and help you see how you're growing. That's it. We don't use it for anything else.

Who can view it

Your own data can be viewed by you, and by your NGO / Sports Academy coordinator, who can see it to mentor and support you. The founder of Compass can also access individual reports for one specific purpose only — to send your report to your NGO / Sports Academy. Beyond this, all platform-wide data the founder sees is anonymised and combined, so no individual student can be identified. Your data is never shared with any third party, advertiser or external organisation.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored securely on Supabase, our backend provider, with strong access rules that limit who can read what.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you want your data deleted, write to compass.app.feedback@gmail.com and we will delete it within 7 days.

Your rights

You can view your data at any time from your dashboard.
You can correct anything that's wrong.
You can ask us to delete it.

If something goes wrong

If there is ever a data breach that affects your data, we will notify your NGO / Sports Academy coordinator within 72 hours so they can reach you.
